Since 1999, the AAMC has been building a national benchmarking database of fundraising programs at medical schools and teaching hospitals. This database is a product of the data submitted each year by AAMC member institutions.
The survey and its resulting database are designed to:
- Assist medical school deans, teaching hospital CEOs, and other leaders in assessing the effectiveness of their institutional fundraising
- Enable members to benchmark their development programs against those of other institutions
- Compile and report national trends in fundraising at medical schools and teaching hospitals
The 2023 AAMC Development Survey is closed.
Thank you to those who participated. If you have any questions please reach out to developmentsurvey@aamc.org.
