    AAHCI Leadership Councils

AAHCI Leadership Councils are deliberative bodies that examine critical issues impacting academic health centers, formulate consensus statements, and share best practices. AAHCI Leadership Councils aim to advance thought leadership, foster sharing of best practices, and catalyze the diffusion of innovation.

By convening academic health center leaders, individuals with in-depth expertise in a relevant area, and key facilitators, AAHCI Leadership Councils serve as a vital resource for complex and pressing issues facing academic health center leaders. Prior to the AAHC-AAMC merger in 2022, the councils were known as the AAHC President’s Councils.
